Congratulations to the following wrestlers for placing at the 2012 Class 5A State Tournament: Silas Hopper (5th - 170lbs.), Luke Weldon (5th - 182lbs.), Chad Blair (3rd - 195lbs.), and Garrett Foster (5th - 220lbs.). Overall, Valley Center placed 12th as a team with 70.50 points. Class 5A team placings are as follows: Ark City (1st), Newton (2nd), Goddard (3rd), St. Tomas Aquinas (4th), Andover Center (5th), Seaman (6th), Mill Valley (7th), Emporia (8th), Hays (9th), Kapaun (10th), Lansing (11th), and Valley Center (12th). Complete brackets for VC wrestlers are listed below, along with overall team scores.
