This past weekend the Varsity team went 3-2 at the Emporia Dual Tournament. The Hornets defeated 2 ranked opponents this past weekend. Scores were: VC 28 Junction City (Ranked 10th) 30; VC 40 Kapaun (8th) 31; VC 48 Topeka Seaman (7th) 23; VC 24 Empora (9th) 35; and VC 58 Washburn Rural 10.

The JV was also in action this past weekend with 10 wrestlers placing at the Goddard Tournament. Placers were: Robert Simmons (5th), Josh Warren (5th), Miles Balthazor (2nd), Chris Bluml (4th), Cory Lapierre (5th), Tony Bluml (2nd), Eric Hamm (1st), Jake Decker (3rd), Adam Hess (2nd) and Zac Sander (1st).

The Hornets return to action this Thursday at home against Ark City at 6pm. Come out and support your Valley Center wrestlers!!
